Cheadle Hulme based design and brand agency, Dawn Creative, have delivered a new identity to support the growth of a Manchester based CBD brand.
Inspired Life founder Robert spent six years backpacking across every continent, before returning to Stockport and starting a market stall. The brand gradually grew, and now has big plans for the future. Now based in the city centre’s Affleck’s Palace, Inspired Life needed a new brand identity to support its diversification into the yoga, travel and clothing sectors.
Dawn Creative worked with owner Robert Harrop to define their true values, purpose and mission before beginning to shape their new visual identity. The agency’s approach to branding starts with a brand workshop, whereby the owner of the company chooses visuals that resonates with them to uncovered the perfect tone of voice and positioning for the brand.
In an increasingly saturated market, Inspired Life needed new branding to not only stand out, but to help communicate their commitment to inclusivity and wellbeing. The sun symbol represents life, positivity and hope, new beginnings and energy, whilst the hemp plant is a subtle nod to Inspired Life’s CBD roots and beginnings.
The sun logo marque is explored further in a form of keyline pattern, and the bold crops of the sun rays overlap and interact with type and authentic candid photography. Shaping copy with words to live by brings further brand ownership to the assets. The result is a flexible, light hearted visual language that stands out in this increasingly saturated market.
