Stockport based branding and design agency, Dawn Creative, have completed a rebrand for Manchester-based SEO specialists and digital marketing agency, Candidsky.
Candidsky wanted a new brand identity to position themselves as a leading digital marketing & SEO company looking to attract young, vibrant clients with a premium offering. David Vernon, Candidsky Account Director explains:
“Candidsky have been fortunate enough to experience tremendous stability and steady growth since the Pandemic. We’ve also undergone major structural changes within our leadership and senior team – helping provide a clear direction for the agencies future.
“A rebrand for us made so much sense, as we have huge ambitions for 2022 and beyond. And with a number of fantastic international and local businesses backing us, we’re in a strong position of growth.”

Dawn Creative’s concept was developed from the comparison of digital, software-led algorithms to the human thought process and the implementation of data-driven decision making. Their exploration led to a flexible visual identity that stems from gamma brain waves, which occur when the brain is in a state of concentration and problem solving.
Freeform gradient patterns imitate the flow of activity on a brain scan, with the waves plotted like fluctuations of positive and negative data.
One of Candidsky’s brand values is visibility, so electric, vibrant colours were chosen to reflect this, alongside a geometric typeface and simple, clean wordmark. The result is an identity that balances the bold and high-calibre service the agency provides to their audience.
David Vernon concludes:
“Not only does the rebrand represent our new visual identity – it also embodies our culture, purpose and mission and I cannot wait to see how the next few years treat us.”
