Over 3,000 motoring enthusiasts, families and visitors flocked to Stockport Market Place on a sunny Sunday to enjoy this year’s Classic Vehicle Show.
Showcasing over 50 classic cars from an Austin Seven to a Chevrolet Bel Air, as well as vintage motorcycles, the car show was a great day out for everyone. Visitors were treated to 50s style entertainment as well as the rare chance to visit Stockport’s Medieval dungeon opened by Stockport Heritage Trust for the day. The popular monthly Vintage Village also took place giving visitors the chance to browse and buy quality authentic vintage clothing, accessories, jewellery and much more.
Commenting, Councillor Kate Butler, Stockport Council’s Cabinet Member for Economy and Regeneration, said:
“There are always great events taking place in Stockport town centre. I’d encourage everyone to make sure they don’t miss out on what’s happening by using the Council’s online events calendar.”
