The UK government has released an online guidance document for businesses and employers, to provide advice on how to respond to the Covid19 coronavirus outbreak.
The guidance aims to assist employers and businesses on how to advise staff on the Covid19 outbreak, including:
- How to help prevent the spread of all respiratory infections, including the coronavirus
- What action to take if someone is suspected or confirmed to have the virus in a workplace setting
- What advice to give to individuals who have travelled to specific areas as outlined by the Chief Medical Officer
- Advice for the certification of absence from work resulting from a Covid19 case
