Condie Investments Limited, a property investment company with a presence across the UK, has appointed Handelsbanken Stockport to manage its banking facility.
Condie Investments was established in 2002 by local property businessmen and the owners of Fairhurst Estates: John Thornely, Nigel Blyth and Stephen Cox.
Condie, whose previous bank had gone through a number of changes, were seeking a bank who understood their future business strategy and were able to support them. They were also keen to appoint a bank with a locally based bank manager and a team with whom they could develop a long term relationship with as well as speak with whenever they needed.
Handelsbanken, who do not have a traditional High Street presence, specialise in providing a personal banking service. Following an initial meeting in September 2018, the Handelsbanken Stockport team were able to meet the needs and tight timescale to achieve a full re-finance solution buy the end of the year and deliver a commitment on future lending to allow the portfolio to grow in line with their strategy.
John Thornley – Managing Director Condie Investments Limited said:
We now feel we have a bank supportive of our future strategy and have a local banking team who we are able to call in and chat to when we feel we need to.
Handelsbanken Stockport delivered on the timescale we set and have been commercial through the switching process.
We are delighted with the personal service received from the team at Handelsbanken following the re-finance from our existing bank. Understanding our needs and aspirations was fundamentally important to us and Handelsbanken have delivered on all counts. A great partnership in the making.
Handelsbanken and Condie Investments are both located at Acorn Business Park Heaton Lane, Stockport.
