Motorists travelling East over the M62 this morning are facing huge delays following a major accident earlier this morning.
The M62 has been closed east bound between junctions 26 and 27 and all routes around the area are very congested. West bound traffic is also being affected.
The accident, involving a stationery van, a second van and a motorbike, is expected to cause the motorway to be closed until later today.
