The team has been recognised for their excellent work in the following categories:

- Best publication (for the Stockport Review EXTRA, a monthly e-newsletter which you can sign up for here www.stockport.gov.uk/reviewextra)
- Public sector campaign (delivered alongside health partners)
- Healthcare campaign (delivered alongside health partners)
The CIPR PRide awards recognise outstanding talents and achievements of public relations practitioners and are the most prestigious and rigorous awards of their kind.
Councillor Elise Wilson, Cabinet Member for Reform and Governance at Stockport Council, said:
“It’s fantastic news that our Communications and Marketing team has been shortlisted for the CIPR PRide Awards for the second year running and I’d like to congratulate them for their efforts in doing so. It reflects the hard work they do day in, day out in delivering public campaigns to inform and engage residents across the borough.
“I’d also like to congratulate our health partners who continue to work with our team to deliver our annual flu campaign, which this year saw Stockport top the national flu vaccination league – a huge testament to how well partnership working succeeds in Stockport.”
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 7th November.
