Stockport Council is encouraging local community and voluntary groups to apply for the CDL Fund and Stockport Fund.
The CDL Fund is offering awards of up to £1,000 to help local organisations that contribute positively to the quality of life of children and young people, older people, the environment, health and stronger communities in Stockport.
The Stockport Fund aims to support the activities of local community or voluntary groups, projects or individuals that contribute positively to the wellbeing of people and communities in Stockport. Grants of up to £1,000 are available.
Councillor Sheila Bailey, Executive Member for Communities and Housing at Stockport Council, said: “I would encourage local community and voluntary groups to apply for these grants to help support the great work they already do. These groups are a real lifeline to local people and are vital to enhance and bring Stockport communities together.”
