Property management company, Capital Properties, has been appointed to advise North West land and property firm HIMOR on the rejuvenation of Bramhall Village Square, an established shopping and business centre located in the heart of Bramhall, South Manchester.
Bramhall Village Square houses independent designer fashion retailers, delis, beauty outlets, cafes and bars alongside leisure and office accommodation.
Capital Properties has been appointed to provide its Capital Life service, which will focus on working closely with tenants to co-ordinate the marketing and event activation of the square. HIMOR’s additional comprehensive refurbishment of the Village Square is expected to complete in spring.
The announcement follows recent success for Capital Properties in the retail sector with its appointment to Mell Square Shopping Centre in Solihull. It is also building its wider commercial office portfolio, maintaining 24 sites for clients across the UK.
Craig Sackfield, client director at Capital Properties, said:
“We are very pleased to have been appointed by HIMOR to a site with such great potential. Our first priority is to develop and maintain relationships with the local community, including schools, sports clubs and social clubs, while minimising disruption to local businesses as our work develops.”
Paul Wrigglesworth, associate director at HIMOR, commented:
“We’re confident that this investment and the activities of Capital Properties will attract new businesses and jobs to Bramhall, bringing vibrancy back to the centre of the village for the whole community to enjoy.”
A company with a robust track-record of breathing new life into sites such as Manchester’s Spinningfields, Salford’s Greengate Square and London’s Chrisp Street, the ethos of the Capital Life team is to encourage existing business, while driving new footfall into the area through a range of marketing activities.
