Malcolm Bailey from Orbit Developments has completed his Land’s End to John O’Groats bike ride and raised a fantastic £4,180 for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
He covered 961 miles in 12 days as planned, meeting other ‘end to enders’ on route and with 17 miles to go Malcolm actually met some of the crew from the Wick lifeboat which spurred him onto his remarkable individual total.
Now back in his day job as Building Manager at Orbit’s Regent House in Stockport, Malcolm (pictured left) said of his experience:
“It was the third time I had completed the round trip and it’s certainly the most satisfying! I would like to thank everyone who sponsored me.”
Tony Jones, Managing Director of Orbit Developments, said:
“Malcolm consistently demonstrates professionalism and dedication in his work and this clearly transfers over into any task he undertakes.
“The company is very proud of his achievements, both in raising such an incredible amount and accomplishing this challenging journey not once, but on three separate occasions.”
