Manchester Airport and retailer Dixons has launched a browse, reserve and collect service from all three of the terminals, taking the stress out of buying before flying.
All passengers can browse 150 products, including brand names such as Apple, Beats by Dre, Bose, Canon, GoPro and Microsoft order online from Dixons Travel Technology store at least 3 days before they take-off from Manchester.
The new service will allow the airport’s 23m annual passengers the option to buy tech goods at Internet Beating Prices and take advantage of Dixons price promise; they guarantee to beat the online prices of Amazon, John Lewis and Argos – on tablets, laptops, cameras, mobile phones or premium headphones – or will discount double the difference.*
Gavin Wood, Head of Ops & Business Development at Dixons Travel, commented: “We are delighted to offer the new Reserve and Collect service out of all three terminals at Manchester, as we continue to save customers money and time by buying their tech when they travel. Manchester Airport continues to develop the wider flying experience, and we look forward to welcoming passengers and introducing them to our services to make their shopping experience with us the best it can be.”
Martin Jones, Retail Director, at Manchester Airport, said: “Manchester Airport is the Global Gateway for the North of England connecting passengers to a wealth of destinations. More and more passengers have given feedback, saying that this is a service that would enhance their flying experience, therefore this is in response to demand. We are expecting this to be a popular service for all of our routes as we strive to offer an even more relaxing and stress-free passage through the terminal.”
