Village Square, Bramhall, will host a day to celebrate the best that the Stockport suburb has to offer on Saturday 9th May from 10am to 3pm.
Alongside the monthly Worker Bee Market, with its many local makers and traders and talented crafters, bakers and gin makers, Bramhall Day will include Manchester DJ, Martin Turner, playing songs you need to sing to alongside performances from three Bramhall dance schools – Eleanor Grace Dance, Dance at the Smithy, and Bramhall School of Dancing.
Many local businesses will be offering freebies: bike shop TREK invite you to bring your bike for a free assessment; fitness studio Body Barre Boutique and FORMË are offering free taster classes; and brand new business FRURT will have free tastings of their frozen yoghurt creations. The wellbeing experts at Amaranth will also be offering free advice and tasters while independent bookshop Simply Books will give you the opportunity to win books and coffees. Bramhall Photographic Society will be showcasing their artwork, while pottery painting studio Ceramics & Chill, and boardgame cafe Outside the Box will also be taking part.
Worker Bee Markets, who are co-ordinating the day, are grateful to Stockport Council for their support. Clare, Event Curator at Worker Bee Markets, said:
“We ran the first Bramhall Day in 2024 and are excited to return and pleased that so many local businesses want to get involved. We’re looking forward to a vibrant, busy day in the centre of Bramhall.”
