Newly re-opened Bramall Hall is celebrating its restoration with a fresh flower festival next month.
Entitled ‘Victorian House Party’, many of the historic rooms in the Hall will be decorated with beautiful blooms and fine foliage by volunteers from the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS).
From September 22-25, the hall will be transformed with traditional and contemporary floral designs.
Imagine a Victorian wedding inside the Chapel, playing charades in the Withdrawing Room, Mrs Beeton’s cookery in the Kitchen and a shooting party – all told through the medium of flowers.
Tickets are on sale from Eventbrite via www.bramallflowerfest.eventbrite.co.uk, in person from the Tourist Information in Stockport Market Place or from the shop in the Visitor Centre at Bramall Hall.
They are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children, including entry into the Hall.
Councillor Kate Butler, Stockport Council’s Executive Member for Economy & Regeneration, said: “Bramall Hall’s fresh flower festival is part of a wonderful programme of events, workshops and activities that is being run for visitors throughout the summer months.”
