Borough Care Ltd, the largest care home provider in Stockport, has appointed PA and Marketing specialists, Queen Bee, to manage communications for its Vision 2020 project.
The brief included developing a communications strategy, planning and fulfilment to support the £20 million investment by Stockport Council into the portfolio of care homes operated by Borough Care.
Kathryn Farmer, Chief Executive at Borough Care Ltd,said: “Securing this significant investment from Stockport Council meant we needed someone who could get up to speed fast and deliver high quality communications even quicker. Queen Bee have done just that and their public sector experience with Stockport Council has enabled them to get to grips with this project in record time. They have been both creative and practical in their recommendations and I look forward to working with them as the programme develops over the next 4-5 years.”
Helen Burton, Director at Queen Bee, said “We’ve certainly come a long way in a year and this is an exciting win for us; boosting the marketing arm of our business. We were appointed a few weeks before the multi million investment news was ready to break, so we had to respond quickly and proactively to address the immediate communication needs of Borough Care’s customers and staff.
“The modernisation of these care homes will allow the Council and Borough Care to provide better care facilities, but the success of this project hinges on making sure Borough Care’s employees, residents and their relatives are engaged and involved in the process.”
