Local school mum duo Victoria Jennings and Sarah Strickland are celebrating the success of their musical baby development classes by adding more venues in communities around Stockport.
Bloom classes focus on bonding and encouraging babies development. Now more and more mums across the borough can enjoy their maternity leave in a relaxed welcoming environment and create memories with their little ones that they can cherish for the rest of their lives.
Sarah from Bloom says:
“We came up with the idea of creating the classes over copious amounts of tea and cake, both qualified early years practitioners we wanted to find a way of joining our skills together for parents in the local area, it was important for us to create small welcoming classes that made mums and their babies smile and now we have grown from 4 classes per week to over 30”
With 5 children between the pair both mums understood the challenges motherhood can face for every new mum and the importance of getting out of the house so their aim was to provide friendly small classes which were not only fun but which promoted bonding and play with their baby.
Victoria Jennings owner at Bloom:
“Society today puts a lot of pressure on women and in particular new mums to be a certain way and look a certain way, at our classes we want our mums to feel happy, relaxed and secure and enjoy the benefits of our classes with their baby”
Bloom Classes follow the Early Years Foundation Stages of learning whilst incorporating makaton, heuristic play and baby massage.
Bloom Baby Classes provide sensory baby development classes across Stockport, Tameside and High Peak.
