Accountants Bennett Verby are supporting local Stockport charity The Wellspring in this Sunday’s Bupa Great Manchester Run.
The 5 strong Bennett Verby team, all keen runners, are delighted to be running to raise funds for The Wellspring.
Accounts and Audit Manager Helen Cain says:
‘‘The Manchester 10k is a brilliant event. There is always such a positive atmosphere and great support for those running. The Wellspring raised over £25,000 last year and we are really pleased to be able to help with their fundraising efforts.’’

The Bennett Verby team have been in training over the last few months and are all aiming to complete the 10k course in under an hour. On Sunday they will join more than 300 runners, racing on behalf of Team Wellspring.
The charity, which receives no funding from the council or government, relies on the local community to support its vital work; from fundraising to volunteering and donations.
The Wellspring is open every day of the year to help people in the Stockport area. The needs of the people who visit the centre vary from simple ones: such as a hot meal, companionship, a hot shower or cloths, to more complicated needs: such as addressing problems like addiction, unemployment, homelessness, health or education requirements.
