North West accountants, Bennett Verby, have spoken to some of the leading businesses in Stockport, sharing their experiences and presenting the benefits of supporting apprenticeships.
Hosted by Damar Training, Bennett Verby Training Manager and Senior Accountant, Adam Rhodes presented to members of the Marketing Stockport community about the value of apprenticeships for local business.
The talk emphasised the unlocked potential of apprentices on an individual scale, with Adam referencing Bennett Verby’s first apprentice who is now a Director in the firm, as well as the wider impact on Stockport’s skills market and competitiveness.
He said, “Training and apprenticeships have been part of Bennett Verby’s business plan for many years and part of our culture for even longer than that.
“But our business isn’t the only one that benefits from the apprentices we hire; we’re investing in the future of business skills in Stockport; Bennett Verby are proud to be a leader in that field.”
