Stockport County’s official training partner Benchmark Gym has extended its sponsorship deal with the Hatters.
Co-owners Mark and Ben saw their new advertising board unveiled by County defender Festus Arthur, one of the first team players to have benefited from the facilities at Benchmark gym this year.
As well as providing training facilities for the Hatters’ squad, Benchmark is a small group personal training gym, mainly aimed at busy mums and dads over the ago of 30, making them feel fitter healthier and stronger.
Mark said:
“We sponsor County because we are both great fans of football, and having grown up in Stockport and loved the club we want to be affiliated with them.
“It’s a great honour to have them train with us and especially play our part in helping them lift the National League North trophy last season.”
Based at Hallam Mill in Heaviley, Benchmark gym describes itself as ‘the gym for people who don’t like gyms!’
Hundreds of Stopfordians have already benefited from their unique and friendly approach, in an environment without mirrors, treadmills or weights – instead, Benchmark has personal trainers to walk people through a specific programme.
