Amshire, specialist IT solutions support company, are celebrating the success of their Apprenticeship programme by taking on their second trainee as an IT support engineer.
Stockport based Amshire have announced that Jake Heap has completed
his Microsoft Apprenticeship and, in recognition of all the hard work that
Jake has given to the Apprenticeship program, Amshire and their
customers, as of Thursday 1st August Jake became a full time, paid
member of the Amshire TEAM.
Managing Director Trevor Taylor is a keen supporter of the Apprenticeship
scheme:
“Apprentices have become a highly valued part of Amshire; young and
eager to learn, they enable us to show them how we like things done at
Amshire. They are also motivated, flexible and loyal which allows us to
nurture their young talent through the Apprenticeship program”.
Technical Director Dave Taylor added:
“We also recognise that a successful business is reliant on having the best employees and we have found that Apprenticeships are the most successful way to achieve this. Apprenticeships are our future; the businesses future. Many people think that an Apprenticeship is for those that are not academically minded which sadly is a misconception”.
Whilst with Amshire, Jake has enjoyed having the responsibility of tasks assigned to him and also interacting with our Customers on a daily basis along with problem solving too.
Jake is Amshire’s second apprentice from the Microsoft Apprenticeship program from QA and they are now actively seeking their third Apprentice.
