IT services company Amshire have linked up with two other Marketing Stockport members.
The Cheadle firm, which offers a range of IT and business support, is working with C&C Insurance and Peak Translations.
Amshire have taken over the management of the IT at C&C and offer a more full service for Peak Translations, taking over all the IT requirements, monitoring back-ups, sorting out email, and providing day-to-day support.
Amshire managing director Dave Taylor said: “Being part of Marketing Stockport brings a vast range of businesses within Stockport together.
“We have found the interaction of meeting many of the members of Marketing Stockport beneficial and through these meetings two members have now become our customers.”
Helen Provart, managing director of Peak Translations, said: “Thanks to Marketing Stockport, we were introduced to Amshire when looking for a new IT support provider.
“We required support for our network of server, PCs, laptop and peripherals and the solution provided by Amshire was a very good fit.
“I met with Dave at Amshire and he outlined all the options, having looked at our system and the requirements for providing support.
“The process was very straight forward and we have so far found all the team to be very pleasant to deal with.”
And Paula Williams from C&C added: “We have always had our own internal IT support until our long-standing IT manager took the decision to retire in May.
“Helen at Marketing Stockport introduced us to Amshire to help us deicide what our IT support needs would be and we decided to work with them due to the local service and expertise.”
