The fresh Group and C&J Clark International Ltd join up to help homeless charities, The Salvation Army and Barnabus, this festive season.
The art of gift giving has become a huge tradition during the festive season and with Christmas just around the corner the mass panic of present buying has begun.
However, the team at fresh and C&J Clark International Ltd (above) decided that this year would be something different.
There is no better surprise than when you give someone a gift they have always desired or lusted after, especially when that person is a stranger and that gift is the promise of a warm night. The two teams joined up and decided to donate the 500 fleecy blankets they had left from an event to homeless charities, The Salvation Army and Barnabus.
The Salvation Army and Barnabus were delighted with their donations from The fresh Group and C&J Clark International Ltd and couldn’t wait to start distributing the blankets to the many people in need this Christmas. The Salvation Army host a drop in centre every Friday and Barnabus are walking the streets this weekend to find those in need.
The festive season should be a joyous one had by all; unfortunately this is not always the case. The random act of kindness (RACKs) from fresh, C&J Clark International Ltd and the many others who give generously every year, are what make this holiday special. The gift of warmth, happiness and faith is one not to be taken for granted.
