The shortlists for Insider’s North West Property Awards Preview 2021 are as strong as ever, despite all these projects coming to fruition during the pandemic.
“A diverse range of developments, deals and companies feature, showcasing the breadth and depth of expertise in the North West.
“From accelerating the regeneration of towns like Wigan and Rochdale, to backing exciting new schemes like Therme’s spa resort or Eden Project North, this year’s entries highlight the scale and quality of the region’s real estate sector.”
2 Stockport Exchange completed in June 2020, the second building to be completed as part of the £145 million redevelopment of the area around Stockport Train Station, with tenants including global chemical giant, BASF, who moved their UK headquarters from Cheadle to the town centre scheme last year.
The latest phase of Stockport Exchange is now moving forward and will include a third commercial building, as well as additional car parking. Previous phases saw the completion of the town centre Holiday Inn Express, and 1 Stockport Exchange, now home to musicMagpie’s Head Office and Stagecoach Shared Services.
