Workplace Wellbeing – Time to Try Something Different?

Marketing Stockport members Arc and Hallidays HR presents Arc’s workplace wellbeing offer to improve mental health in your workplace.
Join our breakfast session in partnership with Hallidays HR, at Arc at Hat Works, to learn about Arc’s workplace wellbeing offer and how we can work with you to improve mental health and wellbeing in your workplace.
Arc is one of the UK’s leading arts and mental health charities, with over 30 years’ experience in running successful arts for mental health programmes. We’ve seen a growing demand for our wellbeing programmes from across the private, public, and education sectors in recent years and know from experience that creativity has a vital role to play in shaping healthier, more sustainable working cultures.
From one-off expertly guided sessions to wellbeing champion education, our offers build confidence and connection and reduces stress, towards reduced sickness and a happier, more productive workforce.
With 1 in 5 adults of working age off work sick (800k more than in 2019) and the cost of ill-health that prevents work equal to nearly 70% of all income-tax receipts, these sobering statistics show, it is vital that we provide colleagues with tools for resilience, recovery & healthier workplace culture.
In this session we will share:
- The impact of creative practices on staff wellbeing and the experience of work
- Creative approaches to promoting wellbeing and supporting employees
- Opportunities for partnership, pilots and programmes to build sustainable positive change in your workplace
Who should attend:
- HR Managers tasked with reducing sickness absence and staff retention
- Wellbeing champions – those responsible for improving wellbeing in their setting – hospitals, schools or businesses
- Businesses who want to improve the resilience of their staff, for reduced sickness and increased longevity
Light breakfast refreshments will be served and there will be an opportunity for informal networking at Arc’s base at Stockport’s Hat Works building.
Arc is 4 minutes walk from Stockport train station – see travel info here https://arc-centre.org/visit-us/
