DESCRIPTION:Marketing Stockport members Arc and Hallidays HR presents Arc’s workplace wellbeing offer to improve mental health in your workplace. \n\n\n\n\nJoin our breakfast session in partnership with Hallidays HR\, at Arc at Hat Works\, to learn about Arc’s workplace wellbeing offer and how we can work with you to improve mental health and wellbeing in your workplace. \nArc is one of the UK’s leading arts and mental health charities\, with over 30 years’ experience in running successful arts for mental health programmes. We’ve seen a growing demand for our wellbeing programmes from across the private\, public\, and education sectors in recent years and know from experience that creativity has a vital role to play in shaping healthier\, more sustainable working cultures. \nFrom one-off expertly guided sessions to wellbeing champion education\, our offers build confidence and connection and reduces stress\, towards reduced sickness and a happier\, more productive workforce. \nWith 1 in 5 adults of working age off work sick (800k more than in 2019) and the cost of ill-health that prevents work equal to nearly 70% of all income-tax receipts\, these sobering statistics show\, it is vital that we provide colleagues with tools for resilience\, recovery & healthier workplace culture. \nIn this session we will share: \n\nThe impact of creative practices on staff wellbeing and the experience of work\n\n\nCreative approaches to promoting wellbeing and supporting employees\n\n\nOpportunities for partnership\, pilots and programmes to build sustainable positive change in your workplace\n\nWho should attend: \n\nHR Managers tasked with reducing sickness absence and staff retention\nWellbeing champions – those responsible for improving wellbeing in their setting – hospitals\, schools or businesses\nBusinesses who want to improve the resilience of their staff\, for reduced sickness and increased longevity\n\nLight breakfast refreshments will be served and there will be an opportunity for informal networking at Arc’s base at Stockport’s Hat Works building. \nArc is 4 minutes walk from Stockport train station – see travel info here https://arc-centre.org/visit-us/ \nThis project is part-funded by the UK Government.
