We refurbish and reuse your unwanted IT equipment to benefit others who aren’t online or don’t have a suitable device to access the internet and provide IT work skills to the long-term unemployed to support them back to work. We also recycle donations to maintain the DigiKnow Device Library, which provides free loans of devices to Stockport residents who are digitally excluded.
Reusing your IT devices through Community Computers reduces the amount of e-waste going to landfill, ensures all hazardous materials are disposed of properly and further prevents carbon from the manufacturing process of new devices.
Community Computers is a non-profit initiative and Digital Alliance Partner, operated from registered charity, Renewal North West (1145056).

We are registered and regulated by the Environment Agency for the processing of electrical, electronic and IT waste; hazardous materials are disposed in accordance with WEEE regulations.
