Stockport College students developed a ‘green’ menu for Green Project Management as they celebrated their 5th year in business by hosting a dinner at Stockport College ‘Elevations’ Restaurant for 32 clients and colleagues who made a valuable contribution towards the company’s growth in the last year.
Elevations Restaurant is the newly opened and refurbished training restaurant at Stockport College.

Project management is their speciality and they bring together the best people to work in partnership in the most effective ways in order to balance social, technical and commercial constraints and define industry best practice.
Managing Director Jonathan Greenhalgh has been a passionate supporter of Stockport College and commented:
“We have had another strong year of performance and wanted to celebrate our 5th year with the people who have assisted along the way. The College is local to our business and the quality of the food from the aspiring chefs is fantastic so it is an easy decision to use Elevations as the venue”.
The evening began with a sparkling wine chosen by the students and the chefs were then challenged to continue to support the company’s brand with a green theme and to devise a ‘green’ menu using locally sourced ingredients. The chefs rose to the challenge and the wide choice ranged from Smoked Mackerel to Baked Goats Cheese for starters and Baked Lamb Cutlets to Sea Bream for main course.
Jonathan said the event was a roaring success:
“The evening was a great way to celebrate five successful years of Green PM and guests were full of praise not only for the quality of food and service but also the professionalism of all the students involved. In recognition, Green PM will again be sponsoring the end of year awards for the catering students at Stockport College.”
One of the attendees was Brian Bradley, partner at Clarke Nicklin and Vice Chair of Stockport College, who said:
“Jonathan and Green PM are a great Stockport business and have shown tremendous support to the local community and Stockport College in particular. It was fantastic to join in the celebrations and I thank Jonathan and his team for giving the College and students the opportunity to showcase their talents. The evening was a great success and is a testament to the passion, commitment and collaboration which Jonathan demonstrates in all his endeavours.”
The evening ended on a high with Green PM raising money on the night for their favoured charity, Reuben’s Retreat.
