Engineering firm gets a refreshed look thanks to Aqua Design Group
After 5 years in business Stockport based KGC Engineering approached fellow Theo Paphitis #SBS winner to re-design their logo to one more in keeping with their classic car restoration business.
Initially KGC Engineering had a logo more indicative of a business involved in the railway industry, though good for creating talking points when they attended classic car shows didn’t help with making that initial connection to those individuals wanting to have their class vehicle restored.
After coming up with a few ideas, KGC Engineering asked Aqua Design Group to incorporate the shape of a 1965 MG with a hand drawn feel, so was natural to have a handwritten style font as part of the logo. To keep the continuity with their existing website KGC Engineering wanted to keep the logo colours as Black and Green.
Kevin Colley of KGC Engineering commented:
“Dylan was really helpful in creating the new logo for my business and understood the design changes I wanted make it more representative of what I do. This has carried on to the new business cards and other stationary items that I am having done. Highly recommend.”
