Mangobean Stockport is set to open its latest coffee shop at new leisure complex Redrock later this year, joining neighbours Zizzi, Pizza Express, Gourmet Burger Kitchen and The Light Cinema.
With over a decade of history in the coffee game, Mangobean has grown to become the fourth largest coffee chain in the UK and will now bring their caffeinated expertise to Redrock, providing Stockport with their daily fix of java.
Mangobean Stockport will be the fourth restaurant to agree to open up at Redrock, alongside The Light Cinema.
From their new 2,100 sq ft store, Mangobean will offer customers the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of food and drinks in a ‘Coffee Wonderland’. The modern design, comfortable seating and unique features, such as a huge sky wall and grass picnic area, will make Mangobean a must visit coffee shop.
This news is another great boost for the £45m leisure development where the lineup of tenants continues to go from strength to strength, with further announcements expected shortly.
John Steer, of Mangobean, says: “Mangobean and myself are very excited about being part of this fantastic new development in Stockport. We look forward to providing Redrock visitors with our great quality coffee and all our other delicious food and drinks.”
Sitting in the heart of Stockport town centre, next to the M60, Redrock will open its doors to customers this November. Combining restaurants, retail, 10 screen cinema, a 360 car park and new public squares, the 75,000 sq ft development will bring a new vibrancy to Stockport town centre as customers come to enjoy a meal before a trip to the Cinema or some shopping.
Councillor Kate Butler, Executive Member for Economy and Regeneration at Stockport Council, said: “Mangobean is a fantastic addition to Redrock and I’m delighted that they have chosen to open their new coffee shop here in Stockport. Their opening will mean there is something for everyone at Redrock, whether you are looking to enjoy a coffee with friends during your lunch break or going out for a meal.
“The change taking place in Stockport at the moment is phenomenal. Our £1 billion investment programme is transforming the town making it an even better place to live, work and visit for all.”
The work at Redrock is just part of the exciting £1 billion investment programme that is currently underway across Stockport. Building on the town’s many strengths, attracting new visitors to Stockport and making the borough even more successful for the future, the “Investing in Stockport” work will see the borough transformed.
GVA and Lunson Mitchenall are appointed as agents for Redrock Stockport.
